ONLY ONCE IN A LIFETIME - 1979

Not Rated (1979) The story itself concerns a middle-aged Latino painter, played by Miguel Robelo, who rather humorously flirts with the idea of ending it all after a Los Angeles city zoning inspector tells him he can no longer sell the vegetables he raises in his back yard. The painter quietly goes about putting his humble affairs in order, but in trying to find a good home for his aged dog, comically comes across more adventures in the next two days than he had previously encountered in his last twenty years. Written, directed and co-produced by Ajijic resident Alejando Grattan
