Before Stanfield Margason can inherit a five hundred million dollar estate, he is killed by his estranged wife and her accomplice who hope to inherit the five hundred million dollar estate after Margason's death. The murder leads Scottsdale Detective Aaron Guerevich to a Las Vegas casino, where he discovers Margason has been involved with counterfeiters printing virtually undetectable hundred dollar bills using plates and paper the CIA gave to the Shah of Iran.
