She follows the girl but doesn't see her do anything or meet anyone out of the ordinary. she thinks she has the solution however. The No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency has competition in the form of Cephas Buthelezi who opens the Satisfaction Guaranteed Detective Agency. He is a former CID officer with the Johannesburg police and has every intention of giving them a run for their money. Finally, Precious is hired by an old friend, Two Shots Pulani, an organizer of beauty contests who wants her to check into to the backgrounds of the contestants for his next beauty contest. Precious asks Grace to take charge of the case.
